Hai Zhang

Biographie


Hai ZHANG est né en 1976 à Kunming, en Chine. En 2000, après l’obtention de son diplôme à l’université de Chongqing, il déménage aux États-Unis. Pour Hai ZHANG, architecte de formation et de profession, la photographie est d’abord un outil de travail, avant de devenir une manière de questionner sa propre identité en Chine et aux Etats-Unis, à travers l’exploration de sujets intimes et personnels, autant que de vastes projets concernant la société dans son ensemble. Actuellement basé à New York, il navigue entre les États-Unis et la Chine.
