In October 2014 the Belarusian capital welcomes “Month of Photography in Minsk” which will present a series of cultural and educational events aimed at strengthening the status of the Belarusian photography as a form of art and its institutionalization in the country. The team of the Festival want to show that the cultural environment in Belarus is open for cooperation with its neighbors, that they are interested in photography of the region, including those projects which are dedicated to the Belarusian realities, and thus one of the festival’s objectives is to make these projects more accessible to the Belarusian audience.
